Damian is co-founder of #mymindourhumanity, a global campaign, and Mental Health – Unveiling the Mask project, a Youth-Driven initiative in Kenya. The project developed through his work as a young leader for The Lancet Commission for Global Mental Health and Sustainable Development. Damian is a young mental health professional and has completed his undergraduate in BSc Medical Psychology at the school of medicine, Moi University. He is the East Africa Program Director of the International Mental Health Association; a Youth Advisory board Member with CitiesRise, GenMH and, Peer support Research Project by the University of Oxford. He is also part of the Special Interest Research Group with the Emerging Minds Network. Besides, he has a diploma in Mental Health, Human Rights & Recovery from WHO. He is passionate about Global Mental Health, research (young people), health policy, and human rights.
