Ms. Ashley Foster-Estwick
Lancet Young Leader for Global Mental Health - Barbados
Ashley completed her undergraduate studies at the University of the West Indies (UWI) and her Master of Arts at the University of Kent in England. She has also recently completed a postgraduate certificate in Health Sciences Research with a focus on Qualitative Research from the UWI’s Faculty of Medical Sciences. In a professional capacity Ashley is a Qualitative Research Project Coordinator with the George Alleyne Chronic Disease Research Centre. During her downtime, she represents the Women Deliver organisation as one of seventeen Women Deliver Young Leaders in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and, also lends her time and efforts to the Healthy Caribbean Coalition as a Youth Advocate. She enjoys speaking French and hopes one day to revisit Sète, France where she held her first teaching position.
