Phineas Chikumba is a Lead Software Developer and Linux System Administrator at the University of Zimbabwe, in the Department of Community Medicine, Health Informatics Training and Research Advancement Center (HITRAC). His areas of expertise full-stack software development mainly in Java based technologies, and associated mobile software development platforms. He has four years’ experience in various solutions development environments including: Human Resources Information Systems, Electronic Health Records and mobile health applications. Currently he is working on community-based mobile application system targeting rural communities, which seeks to strengthen information flow on trade and social issues in these communities.
